There's a pause as a soft intake of breath when Luke says that. That he wishes he could go back. Like he wishes he could forget. His mind can't help but flashback to the numerous conversations he had when Luke showed up. The concerns he had about Luke remembering, about taking part of his life.... that maybe it'd be better if he stayed away, and didn't remember.
I told you all so, he thinks to himself, allowing himself to have a bubbling moment of annoyance towards the rest of the family... before he lets it go. Right. Those feelings wouldn't be much help right.
So... he takes a breath.]
I wish that could happen for you too, or that the world was more fair... unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
The important thing is... he attacked first, you didn't. You were just trying to survive. And... it's a good thing you did remain alive. A lot of people would've been really sad if you had died.
